“It’s been more than a week now since  you did all that fabulous work for us dressing the tables and providing the magnificent balloon decoration for Fred’s 80^th Birthday. Well, we’re just about coming back to earth now, having just a few balloons left and catching up with a bit of loose-end tying.

As you can imagine, the party was an awesome success and it without doubt your time and efforts contributed enormously, and for that Elaine and I cannot thank you enough. We really weren’t sure what to expect or how the decorations would have been received by the guests, but hey, we were getting positive feedback from the most unlikely of people! Fred loved it, all those that attended loved it, and we were so overjoyed with the outcome we were emotionally touched! There were a few balloons released from their anchors by the end of the party and were left stuck to the ceiling of St. Benedict’s, but the staff were not the least bit bothered, knowing they could get them down the following day. I reckon someone was after some of the  bases, but it didn’t really matter too  much to us, so long as they enjoyed themselves.

We just wanted to say, that you have done us proud. We wanted the  best for Fred and certainly got better than that! It was a super party and I don’t think we could have achieved such an exceptionally high standard of presentation without you. You can count on our vote and recommendations anytime.

Wedding Reception – Banqueting Suite, Elland Road – link to pictures

Alison was kind enough to do the decorations for my Wedding Reception on Sunday 19th July.

We had met up a few weeks before to discuss my requirements and Alison listened intently to my needs and made helpful suggestions to ensure I got the best possible service.

As I had got married abroad in Las Vegas, I was keen to include some element of this in the decorations, therefore Alison made me a wonderful Casino themed centrepiece with card balloons and dice balloons along with matching table confetti.

I also wanted to keep the other table centrepieces traditional with an ivory and gold theme and Alison mentioned all the different types of balloons there was to convey our message that although we went abroad to get married, to all intents and purposes we were ‘Just Married’ and this only added to our enjoyment of the evening.

Alison also made me a ‘Cloud 9’ display that went over my buffet table as well as intricate flowers made from all shapes and sizes of balloons to compliment the table. The entrance to the lounge where I had the Reception, were also decorated in these beautiful flowers.

Everytime I walked past the decorations my jaw dropped as they were so perfect, even my Husband was so impressed with them and were determined to keep them as nice as possible before the kids get hold of them!

They were well worth the money for how they looked and all the effort that Alison had put in to help make our day so wonderful.

Any function that I ever have in the future,  Alison will be my first port of call.

Engagement Party – Cheers, Lofthouse

Saturday was fantastic and the decorations were amazing.  I was so impressed  and everyone commented on how nice the room looked and what a brilliant job you had done. I couldn’t believe how much it brightened the room!
